Before you convert

Do I need to buy or activate anything?
No. All current features are available without payment, a licence key or an account during the free beta.
Do my documents get uploaded?
No. Conversion and OCR run in your browser. The website and OCR models are downloaded from the host when needed.
Will the output match my original document?
Conversion is approximate. Complex tables, merged cells, images, formulas, links and list formatting may be lost or changed. Review the result against the original.
What should I check in spreadsheets?
Formulas without saved results may be blank, and dates may appear as numbers. Paperly does not recalculate formulas. Check important values in the original workbook.
Can I convert a large PDF?
Files can be up to 50 MB. Very large documents and scans may exceed your browser's memory. Select a PDF page range to process a smaller part. Safari and iPhone have not been verified on real devices.
How can I report a problem?
Email renjinw9@gmail.com with your browser, file type and a description. Do not send confidential documents; use a redacted example if needed.
